When did you start at Digital Brew?

I started as an intern in February 2018 and then I was hired on May 2018.

What the heck do you do here?

I do the art for videos, define the style, think in some visuals and then I illustrate the storyboards so the Animators can do their magic. I also do logos, posters, and other graphic pieces including portraits.

What are you listening to lately?

Kamashi Washington, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Crumbs, Jhonathan Bree, Japanese Breakfast, La Femme, Sevdaliza, Los Choclok, my new obsession is The Black Pumas and the dark electronic of Boy Harsher (Can’t stop dancing)

What is your favorite movie of all time? Why?

(Hotaru no Haka) Grave of the Fireflies, directed by Isao Takahata, it’s my favorite for many reasons. First, nostalgia. I saw this movie for the first time when I was 9 years old with my two brothers, and it was a big door opener for me. Not just for anime and manga in general, but a door to the wonderful universe of Studio Ghibli. The other reason why I love this movie it’s because it was the first time I felt impact with such a drama on an animation. The way he shows on the war faces and its consequences on two orphan siblings who struggle and fight to survive while taking care of each other. It’s devastating and beautiful at the same time.

Favorite thing about working at Digital Brew:

The fact that I have new challenges with every project means I’m learning something new every day, and I love that. Also when we play video games :p

Most visited webpage:

Youtube for sure.

Favorite podcast:

Cultopedia’ by Diana Uribe, a Colombian Historian and ‘La Otra Realidad’ by And Andrew Alvarez a Puertorican Environmental Anthropologist

Best thing about living in Orlando:

Orlando has become a large supporter of LGBTQ and that makes me feel safe and comfortable. Also there are hundreds of things to do, you’ll never get bored.

Favorite quote?

‘I don’t want to believe. I want to know.’ Carl Sagan
