When did you start at Digital Brew?

I started my internship August 2017, I got hired November 2017.

What the heck do you do here?

I create motion magic by harnessing the power these objects called computers, amongst other tools. I use these to move objects, characters, text and anything I want. I am an Animator.

What are you listening to lately?

I usually listen to anything from A Day to Remember to James Blake to Droeloe, but one of my many cultured co-workers got me into the new Bon Iver album. I like so many types of music I couldn’t choose a fave.

What is your favorite movie of all time? Why?

Inception. This is my favorite mainly because I feel like I have watched it 73 times roughly. It took me that long to understand almost every piece of writing in the movie. Chris Nolan in general, love his movies.

Favorite thing about working at Digital Brew:

It’s unlike any other place I have worked, I love having my own space but still feeling connected with everyone. It’s very laid back yet challenging. The work is always fun and so is the environment. Were a big brewmaster family here.

Most visited webpage:

Amazon, Pinterest and Youtube. To live, to inspire, to learn. (Also Motionographer to make me want to redo all my work.)

How did you get into animation?

I started doing stick figure animations and comics since I was in 4th grade roughly. I used a program called “Pivot Stick Figure Animator” which was always free. I got into Graphic Design in High School which kinda kicked me off in the right direction from there.

Favorite podcast:

I was never good at learning by ear, so i listen to podcasts for entertainment only. Favorite at the moment is “Conan Needs a Friend”

Best thing about living in Orlando:

Everyone I know lives so close, I live right outside downtown so there is anything I could want within a 10 miles radius. Our closet Chipotle back home is an hour away. Yea.

Favorite quote?

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.” -H.P. Lovecraft (No context, just be disturbed.)

Coolest thing that’s happened to you:

Oooh yea! I once opened a bottle of “drank” by accidentally hitting the side of the bottle cap on my kitchen entryway. My friends didn’t see and I said nothing but I still silently basked in the light of my own bad-assery.
