Digital Brew Family Snags Four Emmy® Nominations

EMMY® award season is upon us and the nominations are finally in! We’d like to congratulate Jonathan Berkey, one of our Producers, and Beau Benson, our Senior Animator, for earning Digital Brew two Suncoast Emmy® award nominations and our founder, Michael Cardwell, for snagging two Lone Star Emmy® award nominations. The Suncoast Emmy® award recognizes excellence in the television industry in Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Puerto Rico. The Lone Star Emmy award represents all 19 television markets in the state of Texas.

2015 SUNCOAST EMMY® AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Digital Brew created multiple videos for DraftKings, an online sporting bidding website. The purpose of these videos was to describe DraftKings and what they offer for sports enthusiasts. Jonathan Berkey earned a Suncoast Emmy® award nomination in the Director – Short Form category for his role as Director in the animated explainer video, DraftKings Baseball. Beau Benson’s sick animation work in the explainer video, DraftKings Hockey earned him a Suncoast Emmy® nomination in the Graphic Arts – Animation category.

2015 LONE STAR EMMY® AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Michael Cardwell’s work as Director of Photography in the film Heritage (Directed by Nick Nanton and Produced by Celebrity Branding® Agency) earned him two Lone Star Emmy® nominations in the Cinematography and Documentary categories. Heritage tells the story of how one man’s passion and determination pushed the genetics envelope and helped restore and preserve the blood of the Foundation Quarter Horse Sires.
