Hey guys. What’s up? Tessa here with Digital Brew. And today’s Secret Sauce is “3 Ways to Build a Trustworthy Brand With Video.”
1. Know your audience
All of your efforts in producing a kick-ass video are no good if you’re speaking to the wrong viewer. Knowing your audience is a crucial first step.
Although it may seem rather obvious, staying consistent across all forms of content, whether that is blogs, videos, infographics, what have you, is really, really important. By doing so, the viewer will associate that quality content with your brand, therefore referring back to it as an industry thought leader.
This does tie a little bit into knowing your audience. So for example, if your audience is a quiet, reserved, stay-at-home mom, you don’t necessarily want a big burly fitness man yelling as your voiceover. Not Mr. T style.
