Transcript-

Ally: This week, we’re going to talk about working with a creative studio.

Nathan: Hey, that’s us!

A: Hi, everyone. Ally here with another installment of The Drip. And with me, as always, is VP of biz dev (business development), Nathan Nazario.

N: Good to be here, Ally.

A: So, you’re finally ready to start your journey of having a video made.

N: It’s such an exciting time.

A: It is. But, it’s more than just a simple transaction. Here are some things you’ll want to keep in mind during the process:

N: Working with the Creative Studio is a partnership, and like every good relationship, it’s founded on good communication. At least that’s what my wife says.

A: Well, she’s right. Creating an animated explainer is no small feat, so you’ll be in regular contact with your studio.

N: That’s right, or at least you should be. They’ll be emailing about preferences, art files, script questions, you name it. Promptly responding with feedback is crucial to keep that process running smoothly.

A: Right. And if you need more time for feedback, that’s okay. At Digital Brew, we have early calls where we’ll nail down how much time we should expect for feedback and build that into your timeline.

N: The journey of creating an explainer video, let’s face it, can be daunting and overwhelming. It shouldn’t be. There’s so many styles and ideas to choose from, and it’s okay if you’re not sure what you want.

A: That’s right, and we can help you along with that process. But, it’s also important to communicate the things that you don’t want.

N: So, if there’s something you don’t like or would like to change, we can absolutely work with you. But, the sooner in the process, the better.

A: Right. We’re here to help you succeed. We’ll never take it personally if we present you with something that isn’t quite what you were looking for.

N: Honesty and communication are two foundations of any healthy collaboration.

A: And the thing about Creative Studios, at least ours, is we’re not just about making cool videos. We want to make cool videos that make your business money.

N: Results, engagement, and moving the needle. If you want to know more about what our process is like, you can check out some of our blog posts about this or even give us a call.

A: Yeah, call us. Well, that’s it for this week. Thank you so much for tuning in to this episode of The Drip, and we’ll see you next time.
